OSAT- Oklahoma subject area tests are designed and are mandatory for teaching certification. Eligibility for OSAT Physics Exam

- Meet the standards set by the State Board of Education in Oklahoma.

- Electricity and Magnetism: 17%
- Waves, Acoustics, and Optics: 13%
- Thermal and modern physics: 14%
Format of OSAT Physics Exam
OSAT Physics exam format has been designed constructively and it covers-
- MCQs- 80 response questions with weightage 85%
- 1 constructed response question with weightage 15%
- Constructed response question is covered from the sub area topic Scientific and Engineering processes
- It is a computer based exam.
- Time allotted to the candidates is 4 hours and 15 minutes.
- 4 hours is the testing time and 15 minute is the CBT tutorial.
OSAT Physics Exam includes an assignment that allows candidates to write their responses.
How to Apply for OSAT Physics Exam
Candidates can take the exam only at specific test centers in Oklahoma and the US. While the candidates apply online, they are required to find the test center and check the real time seat availability.
Scores for OSAT Physics Exam
