MTTC Mathematic Test is administered by Michigan Department of Education to grant certification to eligible and talented candidates. Eligibility for MTTC Mathematics Test

To appear for MTTC Mathematic Test, candidate should fulfill following conditions of Michigan Education Board:-

• Applicant should be baccalaureate from state or national university.
• Applicant should have mastery in the subject from state approved college.
• Applicant should have three years of teaching experience (required for out of state candidate)

Applicant should be of 21 years of age while applying for the credential to the board. Candidate should get passing marks in the exam to get liable for the certification.

Format of MTTC Mathematics Test

MTTC Mathematic Test includes multiple choice questions. Scoring of MTTC Mathematic Test is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. The total duration for completing the exam is 270 minutes. MTTC Basic Skills Exam is another complementary exam which a candidate needs to pass other than MTTC Mathematic Test to get the certification. There are three sections in MTTC Basic Skills Test reading, writing and mathematics. Candidate should clear all three sections to get the certification.
