Candidate can appear in the exam in any of the format- pen pencil format or computer based. Candidate can create his user account on the online forum of GPSC board. Candidate can get regular updates from the board directly on his mail account once he gets registered with it. Board provides the facility of filing the application through internet, mail or telephone, depends on the ease of candidate.

Eligibility for GACE Physics Exam


To appear for GACE Physics Exam, candidate should meet all the eligibility criteria and conditions listed by board. Candidate should have bachelor degree and certification from state approved college. If candidate is not having certification however he is enrolled in certification program run by the state approved college then also he can apply for the non renewable certification.

Format for GACE Physics Exam


GACE Physics Exam includes two sub tests. Each sub test is composed of objective and subjective questions.

Sub test I

  1. Mechanics 17 objective questions and 1 subjective question
  2. Thermal Energy and Waves & oscillations 13 objective questions

Sub test II

  1. Electricity and atomic physics 20 objective questions
  2. Science and its characteristics 10 objective questions and 1 subjective question

Scoring of GACE Physics Exam is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. While scoring of GACE Physics Exam, 90% weightage is given to objective questions and rest to subjective questions. Hence candidate should prepare accordingly for GACE Physics Exam.
