    Format for MTEL Health Family and Consumer Sciences Exam (21)

    It is a computer-based exam and is online proctored. It involves 100 MCQ-based questions and 2 open or constructed response-based assignments. The total time allotted to complete the exam is 4 hours and 15 minutes. 2 hours and 15 minutes are provided for the MCQs and 1 hour 45 minutes for the open or constructed response-based assignments.

    As it is computer-based testing therefore the candidates are allowed to take restroom breaks in between. Candidates need to score a minimum of 240 to qualify for the exam. Score reports are made available to the candidates after 2 weeks of completion of the test.
