The Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) designation is designed with the purpose to assess whether or not a security practitioner has in-depth knowledge and case management experience in case management, evidence collection, and preparation of reports and and testimony to substantiate findings.

Format Of The Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) Exam:


The CPI exam is administered in computer-based format. It consists of 125 multiple-choice questions based on the following 3 domain areas:
Case Management (29%)
Case Presentation (21%)
Investigative Techniques and Procedures (50%)
The candidates are given approximately 4 hours to complete the examination.
